The United States Justice System has historically been anti-Black, and has done more harm to the Black male than any other factor to date. In recent history, there is evidence of federal, state, and local law enforcement’s participation in covert and often times deadly activities directed against leaders in the African American community. From recorded events of the FBI spying on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and attempting to discredit him, to the ambush and murder of Black Panther Party members, to the one and only case where a bomb was dropped on American citizens by U.S. law enforcement when a townhome in Philadelphia containing African American radicals was bombed in 1985.
